Digitally linking information of various fields to resolve social challenges

BIM (Building Information Modeling), a design tool for building three dimensional models of a building, visualizes information that cannot be represented in two dimensional drawings and provides the client with a whole picture of the building in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. The BIM models also become the database that integrates all the information concerning architectural elements, making it even more useful for managing and maintaining the building once the construction is completed.

Small to medium-scale buildings, for example, tend to be left undone in terms of operation and management of energy usage, unlike large-scale buildings controlled integrally at the central management system. However, if the air conditioning system is controlled and maintained through BIM models and adjusted according to the season and the time of the day, along with the consideration for occupant population or individual thermal senses, it becomes possible to reduce energy consumption as well as increase intellectual productivity in the office environment.

It is a social goal to achieve both comfort of people and carbon neutrality in parallel, through the most suitable and effective management utilizing digital technology. We are committed to resolving the social challenges by linking BIM models with various information from other fields via digital technology.
