With the growing worldwide popularity of cruises, a deep water cruise terminal has been built at the entrance to Tokyo Port to accommodate the increasingly larger passenger ships. The facility welcomes and bids farewell to guests against a backdrop of a panoramic view of Tokyo, standing on an artificial island. The captivating architecture has become the new gateway of Tokyo Port, with its large roof reminiscent of traditional Japanese temples and shrines.

ABC Trading Head Office

The head office of a building materials manufacturer and trading company, ABC Trading. The facade's design harmoniously incorporates the neighbouring shrine, Hie Jinja. Indoor stairs that encourage communication and buffer zones similar to an engawa, a Japanese-style veranda floor, capture the eye. Implementing BuildCAN ensured energy efficiency alongside comfort in office spaces makes it the first building in Chiyoda City to achieve a BEI value below 0.5.
