The North Wing of the Osaka Gas Building, which was designed by Shouichi. Sano, a successor of our company’s founder, Takeo Yasui, and a former president, is expected to be registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property (Building).
This designation refers to buildings that have been completed for over 50 years and have attained a certain level of recognition for their architectural significance, and are registered after being reviewed by the Cultural Affairs Council. For the Osaka Gas Building, this marks the second registration following the South Wing, which was also designed by Takeo Yasui, the founder of our company.
