Hotel Vischio Osaka

This project replaced the old Osaka Yayoi Kaikan building with a new accommodation-centered hotel with 400 rooms. It is the first hotel under for Hotel Vischio by Granvia, the new brand for JR-West Hotels. The plan composition has a quadrangle layout around a central atrium, which is highly efficient and allows people to stroll around. It also provides good working routes for linen staff. The balconies around the entire periphery have a refined and simple louver design, expressing the great fluctuation of nature. The individual air conditioning units, one per guest room, allow other rooms to operate as normal even when they are under maintenance. The room interior design incorporates a graphic design on the theme of Vischio (mistletoe), and the brand color. It also features art that brings in the hotel’s Osaka location. This is a hotel that gives simplicity a refined expression.
