Kanku Ice Arena

Kanku Ice Arena is an all-weather ice rink situated inside Rinku Ice Park along the coastline across from the Kansai International Airport. The arena is set as a central facility in the “ice rink-centered town planning”. Main ice rink (60m x 30m) that meets the international standards, an annex ice rink fit for curling, and 500 seats on the 2^nd floor are compactly arranged under the 66m x 56.7m column-free space. Construction method and finish materials were selected to achieve super-short construction time and super-low cost. A long and simple blue-colored wall and its adjacent plaza invites visitors from the park side.
