The Benefits of Using BIM Learned from the Demonstration Project
This is a report on how the use of BIM can contribute to companies and, more importantly, to our society, as verified by the demonstration project undertaken by three firms, Yasui Architects, Nippon Kanzai, and ABC Trading.

3 From the Perspective of Corporate CSR
In a rapidly changing social climate, enhancing employee wellness, creating a safe and secure work environment, and improving corporate resilience has become a crucial issue for companies, along with addressing energy and environmental issues.
We are starting to consider the use of BIM for safety and security measures, such as to confirm what kind of stockpiles are stocked and what kind of evacuation routes are secured. Some companies that have introduced remote working after the pandemic are even conducting virtual evacuation drills to prepare employees for unforeseen situations at the office.
The benefits of implementing BIM are not limited to being able to show numerical values. Based on the belief that the appropriate use of digital data can lead to solutions to social issues, we will continue to propose new ways of using data and provide advice as an architecture design firm so that we can be more committed to solving the problems of individual companies.
