In-house competition: Behind-the-scenes Part 2
At the“Mitoshiro Creative District,” where every project is initiated by one of the staff, workshops and events were already held from the preliminary stages of the relocation project based on the theme: “Tune your on- and off-duty work and work as if you were playing.”
How should the first floor be utilized? The “creative district” talks are organized by staff twice a month, featuring activities such as movie screenings, rice cake making, and canvas painting. Additionally, “open house” events are held with guests.
“We haven’t tried this in the office before, but observing everyone’s skills and potential during these events is fascinating. This has created a positive cycle, with unexpected triggers fostering better communication.”
Conversation and exchange start from glimpses of individual personalities between the gaps. This could also be the power of place.
