Stance on scenery, and on the environment

We used hybrid air conditioning to unify the expansive glazed roof space with the natural environment of the aquarium. The combined use of natural ventilation and light with floor venting for the occupied area air conditioning reconciles the demands of a comfortable environment and energy saving. We used air flow simulation analysis at the design stage of this plan, and validated the effects with long-term measurements after completion. We also used a water heat storage system, to maintain aquarium functions even in an emergency, in a highly reliable plan able to store both water and heat.
