Tokyo National Museum Main Gate Plaza

Tokyo National Museum has renovated the main gate as Main Gate Plaza where people visiting Ueno park can feel close to it. They are newly developed at the junction of the museum and the park where visitors can enjoy free of charge, those are the retail shop as the showcase to publicize the information about the activity of the museum, lounge, and plaza for visitors to use freely. And also ticket booth has extended and information center and nursery are newly equipped. To make it as public space for anyone to use casually, it becomes “attractive visiting spot” for the people to visit Ueno park.
