Hanoi Geriatric Hospital (provisional name)

This project is a geriatric hospital on the outskirts of Hanoi. The current geriatric hospital in the center of Hanoi lacks space, and this was planned as a second hospital, to be built in a rural area with a lush natural environment, to provide expanded functions. The plan makes Hanoi No.1 hospital the role of emergency treatment and makes this No.2 hospital mainly provide treatment for the recovery phase. The site is mainly developed with a cluster of facilities for the elderly, including the hospital, housing, and nursing facilities. The area is developed as a rich green area to link the various facilities with footpaths, land for light farming work, and the like. The plan also considers interaction with surrounding villages, and is intended to be a model for future projects in Vietnam.
