Hotel Nikko Kaohsiung

Kaohsiung, the second-largest city in Taiwan, is a vibrant industrial city with a special relationship with the sea, where buildings with powerful and innovative designs are being built one after another. In planning a mixed-use development project consisting of two buildings, the Hotel Nikko Kaohsiung and a condominium, the design combines the power of the city’s dynamism with the meticulous elegance of Japan. The black stones emphasizing the vertical lines create an expression that stands out from the surrounding buildings, while the detailed eaves in soft colors and the depth created on the facade reflect the Japanese style of expression.
