We investigate the introduction of strategic urban functions, urban infrastructure to support diverse activities with a century-long time frame in mind, and the phased development of the same. Using those investigations, we formulate facilities plans, design facilities and buildings, handle urban planning procedures, liaise with local landowners, and provide other services. How will cities and architecture change in an age of rapidly-advancing population decline and a society with low birth rate and aging population? And what do we need to do in the near future? Through research in various themes, we make concrete proposals based on linkage and integration of wisdom from inside and outside the company.
