Agui Town Office

This replacement composite government office, with an added multi-purpose hall, was designed to blend with existing buildings as an emotional center for the town. Its community interaction area combines the town hall lobby, hall foyer, canteen, and other facilities, facing a public garden. The “Veranda Mall,” a continuous semi-outdoor space under the eaves, links with the existing community hall. The overall facility uses the image of the town’s fireflies, and integrates new and old elements, both indoors and outdoors.
