Abeno Cues Town

A mall space with diverse hybrid composition

Abeno Cues Town (Abeno District A1 Type 2 Urban Redevelopment Project, A2 Building) is an urban commercial facility produced by a redevelopment project in the Abeno and Tennoji district. The district is the gateway to South Osaka because it is served by seven rail lines to five stations belonging to JR, Kintetsu, Subway, and Hankai Tramway. The wall around 300 m long, facing Abenosuji, is articulated into diverse elements, to mitigate the visually oppressive feeling and add liveliness to the street. Hybrid composition between exterior spaces such as the open mall and urban terrace, and the inner mall, produces richly varied, open-feeling facility.
