We developed an inter-seasonal heat storage system with a ground heat air conditioning system that uses the building’s piled foundation to make the soil under the building into a heat storage medium. It accumulates the coolness of the winter, as natural energy, and uses it for cooling in summer. We used air conditioning system simulation to validate performance and optimize operation, achieving a high efficiency level of COP 7.14.
