This building is located in part of the Shiodome District Redevelopment Zone (Shiodome Sio-Site) with a view of Hama-rikyu Gardens. Aiming for new quality in work, play, and home, this project consists of a single-occupant 3,000 m² office equipped with the latest functionality, the Conrad Tokyo, a 290-room Hilton-affiliated hotel, on the upper floors, and commercial facilities with full functions to support office workers. The exterior appearance of the office portion uses an orderly grid, to differentiate its expression from the glass walls of the hotel guest rooms, which have horizontal lines. Each floor of the lowrise portion consists of commercial facilities and an entrance to the office and hotel facilities, achieving multi-level access to public transport. The exterior space is designed for scenic coordination with the adjoining D-2 and D-3 blocks. The plan creates open space of high usage and public benefit, and makes the banquet hall building and each building continue gently to the greenery and water of Hama-rikyu.
