Hokuriku Shinkansen Itoigawa Station

The Sea of Japan, the Northern Alps, and jade as symbols
This project is building a new Itoigawa Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen. The two-story elevated structure has platforms on the third floor, and a concourse and public passage on the second floor. The design employs the motifs of “the Sea of Japan, the Northern Alps, jade, and Itoigawa Geopark”.
