Niigata City Fire Bureau / Chuo Fire Station

This plan, which was formulated immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake, takes the theme of “ Fire department offices that will function continuously through a major disaster, and are capable of fast initial mobilization as a center for firefighting activities”. It is also an environment-friendly facility which uses natural energy to absolutely minimize dependence on mechanical equipment.
