Otopeni Airport Station

We supported planning and structure studies by Padeco, which was in charge of the basic planning, for a design plan to build approximately 15 km of new subway line in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. The themes of this project were to make it more convenient to move between the city center and the international airport (Henri Coandă International Airport), to link the center of Bucharest with the new development zone in the north of the city, and to reduce traffic congestion and associated environmental loads by cutting vehicle traffic volume. The range of our target areas for overseas projects has expanded beyond our usual focus areas of China, East Asia, and Southeast Asia, to include South Asia and Eastern Europe. Various conditions differ between countries, but we build an organization that enables us to collaborate with the local design organization for each project, so that we can provide continuous service to the end of the project. In addition to conventional architectural design, the services we provide include localizing our technology, such as BIM and environmental technologies, to fit local conditions, so that we can make diverse contributions.
