Osaka Univercity of Comprehensive Children Education C School Building

This is a training facility for nurturing preschool teachers. The building is composed of “two L-shaped plans” along the L-shaped site; one block comprised of training rooms and lecture rooms forms the “knowledge-accumulating learning space”; the other block with community space forms the “humanity-nurturing learning space”. The two learning spaces have no corridors and are connected through open stairs on all levels. By opening the glass partition walls and spreading “learning” across the two blocks, the building provides “learning space everywhere”.
