Meguro City Office Complex, Conversion

A renewed building that changes the headquarters of a private company to public architecture

The former Chiyoda Seimei Building (completed in 1966), a private-sector office building, was the masterpiece of the architect Togo Murano. This project converted it for use as the government office for Meguro Ward. We also performed a seismic resistance retrofit to enhance the building’s safety as a core facility of local government administration. The conversion was carried out in 2003.
