Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical SAGA Global Research Center

This project consolidates a company’s research and development centers formerly scattered throughout Japan into the city of its founding, Tosu, Saga Prefecture. The concept of “gathering knowledge” is expressed in the exterior design, an aggregation of squares. The interior combines multi-floor atrium spaces and open space to encourage organic encounters between people and stimulate innovation.
