SUNTORY TOMI NO OKA WINERY FROM FARM Vinification Facility

A wine vinification facility that embodies the philosophy of Suntory Tomi no oka Winery: “FROM FARM (Everything Starts in the Vineyard).” In addition to its production functions, it serves as a public relations hub where visitors can experience the winery’s philosophy and techniques firsthand. The exterior is designed as a simple glass box that expresses modernity while maintaining harmony with existing facilities; the entrance features champagne-gold aluminum panels reminiscent of white wine.   Through meticulous adjustment of members’ dimensions and joint layout, creating a beautiful, tension–filled façade. The interior space is unified in a monochromatic color scheme that harmonizes with the stainless–steel tanks, which serve as the focal point. The spatial layout allows visitors to gain direct insight into the fermentation and aging areas– where tanks and equipment are lined up- through large openings, presenting a new model for production facilities that makes the production process visible while allowing visitors to experience the brand’s philosophy firsthand.
